This ministry was born out of the idea and realization that although we were serving meals on Thanksgiving and Christmas, this faction of people, the so-called “homeless”, have a need to be fed throughout the year. Many of them also need clothes and other items.
OBJECTIVE
The
goal and desire of the Clothing Ministry has been to fulfill the
direction of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ as given in Matthew
25:34. We solicit clean wearable garments that are appropriate for that particular time of the year from members and friends. At present, we meet on Friday’s to select from donations what will be displayed for our guests attending “The More Like Christ” service on the 1st & 4th Saturday’s of each month. Clothing and other items are distributed after "The More Like Christ" service.
