There shall be in every church, an organized Sunday Church School. The purpose of the Sunday Church School is to provide training for members of the church in the love and knowledge of God as revealed in Jesus Christ, in the meaning and understanding of the Bible as God’s Word, and to help them grow in their Christian faith. The teaching ministry of the Sunday Church School shall be divided into the age categories of children, youth, young adults, and adults as designated by the General Department of Christian Education.
