Children’s Church is committed to the concept that spiritual and personal growth is crucial to the well-being of each child. Children will be taught to put God first in their lives. Trusting in God and asking Him for what they need, will be foremost in their learning. High standards will be set for planning their spiritual and academic growth.
OBJECTIVE Children’s church attendees will learn the following:
Salvation in Jesus can be understood and obtained at their level.
Reading the Bible must be a daily way of life.
Biblical learning can be achieved through Biblical storytelling, lessons taught by their leaders, songs and arts and crafts.
Fellowship via church-sponsored activities, such as fieldtrips, will help them get to know their Carter Temple Church family better, while in a Christian atmosphere.
Developing Christian leadership skills is important as a means of witnessing to others about the salvation of Christ.
They will S.O.A.R. – Serve, Obey, Attend, and Respect the church as the body of Christ.
