Reverend Curlee L. Adams is a product of the Chicago public school system and the Chicago housing projects.  He is a graduate of Dunbar Vocational High School and holds a BA Degree from Northeastern Illinois University, a Paralegal Certification from Roosevelt University and a Master’s of Divinity Degree from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary.

In August of 2009, Rev. Adams was ordained Traveling Elder by Bishop Paul A.G. Stewart, Sr. He is currently serving at Carter Temple CME Church as the Young Adult Bible Study facilitator and Assistant Minister to the senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Sylvester Williams, Sr. In addition to his charge at Carter Temple, Rev. Adams is a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., where he serves as National Chaplain,as well as ACTS OF FAITH, a health care initiative group that seeks to eradicate the various health disparities impacting our community. 

Rev. Adams is married to the former Lisa Johnson and to this marriage they have five children; Brittney, Kayla, Katia, Isaiah and Malachi.
