A layperson is anyone who has not been called to the office of clergy. Throughout the Bible, God used laity to spread the Good News. It shall be the purpose of the Lay Ministry to aid in
equipping and enabling the members of the church to engage in more
effective ministries. The specific functions of this ministry shall be to
develop programs that will strengthen the ministry; to aid the members
of the congregation to be more effective witness; to address the needs
and concerns of men; and to strengthen the ministry of women. Bring a
willing heart and become apart of the Word of God.
